A meat-processing employer in Zagreb is hiring experienced butchers to cut, prepare, and package meat products to high hygiene and food-safety standards. This is a stable, full-time role on a one-year contract that renews annually based on performance, with 30 positions open.
Standard hours are 40 per week across six days, worked in shifts. JVCS manages the full pathway — work-permit processing, documentation, relocation, and on-arrival support — so you can focus on the job rather than the paperwork. A six-month probation period applies.
What you'll do
- Cut, trim, debone, and prepare meat products to company standards.
- Operate knives, saws, grinders, and other meat-processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Store, handle, and rotate meat products in line with hygiene and food-safety regulations.

- NBI certificate with apostille, or legalised police clearance.

- Free accommodation with basic utilities covered by the employer.
- Meals provided by the employer.
- Transport covered, including a monthly public-transport ticket.
- Basic health insurance, with optional additional cover from €10/month.
- 20 days of paid annual leave.
